Pickled grapes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g grapes, light, seedless, without stems
  • 320 g sugar
  • 225 ml white wine vinegar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks, each approx. 2 cm
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 3 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 3 days 25 minutes

Perfect with cheese or crackers

Wash the grapes and place them in two 500 ml jars. Bring the sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, and salt to a boil. Let cool. Place cinnamon pieces in the two jars and place spacers on top of the grapes. Fill with the sugar and vinegar until completely covered. Screw on the lid and let stand at room temperature for 3 days, then refrigerate. How long will it last? I have no idea, they always go so quickly. But a week in the fridge will probably be fine.
