Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg cucumber(s) (pickled cucumbers)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 5 cherry leaves, 5 currant leaves, 5 oak leaves and 1 horseradish leaf
  • some dill, fresh
  • some dill, dried
  • 5 garlic cloves, peeled, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

lightly salted, quick to prepare, delicious after just one day

Wash the cucumbers and place them in a sealable container. Bring the water and all the other ingredients to a boil and immediately pour over the cucumbers. Once cooled, seal the container and refrigerate. After just one day, the cucumbers will taste somewhat unusual, but very, very delicious and lightly salted. I don’t know how long they’ll keep, as we gobble them up in no time. The cucumbers also taste good in salads.
