Pizza quattro formaggi / Pizza bianca

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 4 handfuls of Parmesan or Pecorino, grated
  • some Gorgonzola
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • some Gouda
  • some oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

I prepare the dough in a bread maker, placing all the ingredients in the container in the row indicated and selecting the dough program. To prepare without a bread maker, mix the ingredients and let them rise in a warm place for about half an hour. Shape the dough into balls and roll them out. Preheat the oven to its highest setting. I use a pizza stone, which must be preheated half an hour in advance. Cut the mozzarella into strips or cubes and place them on the rolled-out pizza. Use a teaspoon to scoop out pieces of Gorgonzola and scatter them on the pizza. Spread grated Parmesan or Pecorino and Gouda cheese on the pizza, and bake the pizza on the stone for about 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Without a stone, it should take about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with oregano after baking. This amount is enough for about 2 servings.
