Ham pizza with olives

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 425 ml artichoke hearts, from the can
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 200 g cooked ham (shoulder ham)
  • 250 ml pizza dough, chilled
  • 3 tbsp black olives
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 100 ml milk
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • ½ tsp thyme, dried
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven (top/bottom heat: 200°C, gas mark 3). Depending on their size, halve the drained artichoke hearts, if necessary. Clean and wash the spring onions, and cut them into approximately 2-3 cm long pieces. Halve the ham slices. Unroll the pizza dough on a well-greased roasting pan and press down firmly along the seams. Then, if necessary, fold in the edges slightly to create a small rim. Spread the ham, artichoke hearts, spring onions, and olives evenly on the pizza dough. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the milk and stir in the cheese until smooth. Season to taste with pepper and thyme. Drizzle the cheese sauce evenly over the ham pizza. Bake in the hot oven for approximately 18-20 minutes until crispy. A light rosé wine goes perfectly with the pizza.
