Plaice fillet on savoy cabbage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g savoy cabbage
  • 2 plaice fillets
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs (e.g. chives, parsley..)
  • broth
  • salt and pepper
  • some flour to bind

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Trim the savoy cabbage, cut into strips, and cook in broth or salted water. This takes 12-25 minutes, depending on how tender you like it. Strain the savoy cabbage and puree it with a little of the broth. Season to taste and thicken with flour, if desired. Stir in the herbs. Season the plaice fillets with salt and pepper and fry in the pan. This takes about 8 minutes. Arrange the savoy cabbage on plates and place the plaice fillets on top. Serve with cream cheese potatoes or bouillon potatoes.
