Plaice rolls and cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 glasses of white wine
  • 150 ml sweet cream
  • 9 plaice fillets, approx. 600 g
  • 150 g cheese (Leerdamer) in slices
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon(s)
  • some parsley
  • curry

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the mushrooms and brown them in butter in a large pan. Dust with flour. Add the white wine and cream and simmer for 2 minutes, then season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Meanwhile, rinse the fillets and pat dry. Top with cheese slices, roll them up, and place them in the sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Garnish with lemon and parsley. Serve with baguette and a Pinot Blanc.
