Plum and leek sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 plums
  • ½ pepper
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 4 stalk(s) celery
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 300 g mozzarella, firm, grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Simple and vegetarian, gluten-free

Wash the plums and dice them. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, and slice them finely. Wash the leek and celery and slice them finely. Caramelize the plum cubes along with the bell pepper strips in butter and sugar over medium heat. Add the leek and sauté for 5 minutes. Add a splash of white wine. Blend everything with a hand blender until smooth. Add the cream and mozzarella and melt the cheese. Season with turmeric and curry powder and season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add a clove of garlic. Goes well with vegetables and fish.
