Plum cake with crumble

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g butter
  • 350 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 egg whites
  • 70 g sugar
  • 120 g nuts
  • 80 g flour
  • 80 g nuts
  • 120 g sugar
  • 120 g butter, melted
  • 1 kg plum(s), pitted and halved
  • n. B. almond flakes
  • Fat and flour for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cream the butter with the sugar and egg yolk until fluffy. Fold in the flour mixed with the baking powder, nuts, and cinnamon. Beat the egg whites with 70g of sugar until stiff peaks form and fold in. For the crumble, knead the flour with the nuts and sugar into the melted butter and chill. Spread the mixture onto a greased and floured baking sheet, arrange the plums on top, and sprinkle with crumble. Sprinkle with flaked almonds, if desired. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 1 hour.
