Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 ml milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 500 g plum(s), washed and pitted
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix the yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a cup with 5 tablespoons of lukewarm milk and let it rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Heat the remaining milk with the sugar, fat, and salt until the fat melts. Whisk the eggs into the warm, but not hot, mixture. Sift the flour into a bowl, make a well in the center, and stir in the prepared yeast and the milk-fat mixture one after the other. Knead the dough vigorously and form it into a ball. Cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes. Knead the yeast dough again and cut into 20 portions. Form it into small cakes (like pudding cookies), place them on a greased baking sheet, and spread with sour cream. Place the plums on the yeast pastries and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Let rise for 10 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
