Poms from Grandma

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 375 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • e.g. raisins
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

similar to Pöffertjes – but without the special pan

Combine the first seven ingredients in a food processor and make a dough. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour. Scoop out the sticky dough with two tablespoons and fry in batches on both sides in a non-stick pan. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. This recipe, by the way, is from my grandma. As children, we loved it when Grandma made “Pöms.”
