Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 185 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 bag(s) flavoring (Orange-Back)
- 1 apple
- Chocolate, leftovers and colorful sugar sprinkles
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
makes 15 muffins
Mix the softened butter with the sugar. Gradually add the eggs. Then mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the batter. Wash the apple thoroughly and coarsely grate it into the batter. Add the orange zest and mix everything again. Spoon the batter into the muffin cups using a spoon and a second one to level off the excess, as the batter is thick. Bake on the middle rack of a preheated oven for about 15 minutes at 200°C (use a toothpick to test if it’s too hot). Briefly melt the chocolate (I usually use leftover chocolate from Easter or Christmas, or leftover bars) in the microwave on low power and spread it over the muffins. Sprinkle colorful sugar sprinkles on the still-melted chocolate.
