Poppy Seed Sheet Cake
The perfect poppy seed sheet cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 50 g Sugar
- 100 g Margarine
- 400 g Poppy
- 100 g Semolina
- 2 Pc. Egg
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 500 ml Milk or water
- flour. Knead the baking powder, sugar, butter, and egg into a smooth dough
- Roll out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper 24 x 38 cm
- Bring the milk and sugar to the boil and let the semolina swell in it, then stir in the poppy seeds and cinnamon
- When the mixture has cooled down a bit, stir in 2 eggs and put the whole thing on the bottom
- Bake at 180 degrees on the middle rack for 40 minutes
