  • 200 g Margarine
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Quark
  • 500 g Flour
  • 50 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 500 g Poppy seed baking
  • A few drops of orange and lemon flavor
  • Rum raisins and marzipan as desired

For painting

  • 200 g Liquid butter
  • 100 g Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • So I know that a good tunnel should rest for a long time. But, because this was my first stollen and I still had so much baking ingredients left, I just tried it. After a two-day grace period, we tried it and it was delicious! If you want to quickly make a stollen for Christmas, this is the right place for you!
  • Mix the butter and sugar until frothy. Stir in the quark and eggs one after the other. Knead in the flour, baking powder, hazelnuts and flavors. Roll out. Top with poppy seeds, marzipan and rum raisins and roll up the whole thing. Shape into a stollen and put in the oven at 180 degrees hot air for about 50 minutes. Then brush it with the butter while it is still hot and dust with powdered sugar. Complete!
  • It smelled so delicious that I wanted to cut it straight away. I don't have it! Instead, when he was cold, he was allowed to linger in a layer of bread and butter and a layer of aluminum foil in the cellar, but as you read above, not long. Merry Christmas
  • P.S. baked it and this time took extra pictures. Have a nice time before Christmas!
