Pork fillet in lemon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp pepper, green, fresh
  • 750 g pork fillet(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • n. B. Marsala
  • Salt and pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Combine lemon juice, 4 tablespoons of water, sugar, and green pepper. Marinate the fillet for about 1 hour, turning it several times. Pat the meat dry. Fry in hot oil for about 15-20 minutes until browned. Keep warm. Deglaze the pan juices with the marinade and Marsala, reduce slightly, and season with salt and pepper. Carve the pork fillet and serve with the sauce. Serve with buttered carrots and small boiled potatoes.
