Pork schnitzel "Milan" breaded, garnished with cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels, breaded
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 small can of green beans
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 1 pack of Italian herbs (frozen)
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • salt water
  • some olive oil
  • some vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

with Italian vegetable sauce and spaghetti

Fry the breaded schnitzels in vegetable oil. Sauté the onions and garlic in a pan with a little olive oil. Stir in the tomato paste and dust with flour. Deglaze with the vegetable stock, add the passata, crème fraîche, and Italian herbs. Finely chop the carrot and bell pepper and add them to the sauce along with the mushrooms. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the beans. Add the seasonings and finish cooking the spaghetti in salted water. Serve with the breaded schnitzels.
