Ingredients

  • 2 Discs Pork shoulder, each 1.5 to 2 cm thick
  • 0,25 head White cabbage (white cabbage)
  • 4 Potato
  • 1 Onion
  • Fat
  • 1 packet Gravy (dry powder)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Wash the meat, pat dry, salt, pepper. Peel the potatoes and onion, dice the onion.
  • Heat the fat in a roasting pan, fry the meat on both sides. Also fry the cabbage, onion and potatoes, pour water or a thin stock over them.
  • Put the lid on the roasting pan and put it in the oven. It stays in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. If necessary, add water or a little broth.
  • In the meantime, I prepare the gravy as directed.
  • I put bread dumplings (I've always frozen some) in the roaster right from the start. Stir in the gravy with the shot, add a dash of cream if necessary, done.
  • Bon appetit!
