Pork Steak With Herb Sauce

Grilled pork loin steak with a delicious herb sauce

Ingredients for 4 persons

Herbal salsa

  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 3 tbsp capers, pickled
  • 2 shallots
  • juice of a lemon
  • 1 chili, freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 5-6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sweet mustard
  • Salt pepper

Pork loin steak

  • 4 pork loin steaks, approx. 180-200 g each
  • 2-3 tbsp canola oil
  • 20-30g butter
  • sea salt, e.g. B. MaldonZea salt, pepper

Preparation

Herbal salsa

  1. Finely chop the parsley, capers, and shallots. Mix in the lemon juice, chopped chili, honey, olive oil, sweet mustard, salt, and pepper. The salsa is ready.

Pork loin steak

  1. Fry or grill the pork loin steaks unseasoned in a suitable pan (cast iron or grill pan) at a medium to high temperature in rapeseed oil on both sides for approx. 3 minutes. Turn off the stove, use the remaining heat to drain the butter from the pan, and pour it over the steak. After frying, pat dry with kitchen paper and let rest for a good 2-3 minutes. Season with pepper and some coarse sea salt.
  2. Serve the steaks on a plate with the salsa and enjoy.
