Porridge with dates and cantaloupe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • 100 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 6 dates
  • ¼ cantaloupe(s)
  • possibly agave syrup if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

vegan and simple breakfast

Heat the soy milk and add it to the oats. Let it swell briefly, ideally for about 40 seconds in the microwave at 1000 watts (for porridge – much easier than in a pot). Cut the dates and melon into small pieces and add it to the oatmeal. Mix everything together and sweeten with agave syrup if desired. A delicious and healthy breakfast is easily conjured up. The amount of oats you use doesn’t really matter. You just need to adjust the milk accordingly. The milk can also be varied, of course. However, I like Alpro soy milk because it’s already slightly sweet.
