Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g potatoes
- 400 g carrot(s)
- 200 g apples
- 100 g onion(s)
- 150 g flour
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper
- possibly chili powder
- e.g. applesauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes, carrots, and apples and grate them coarsely (you can leave the skins on if you like). Finely dice the onions. Mix everything together in a bowl with the eggs and flour. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. You can always add your own touch at this point. I like to add a pinch of chili powder. Now transfer everything to a greased baking dish and bake in the oven at 150°C (convection oven) for about one hour. After baking, allow everything to cool sufficiently so that the consistency firms up. The dish can be served as is or with a dollop of applesauce.
