Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 3 stalk(s) leeks
- 2 cloves garlic
- vegetable broth
- 2 eggs
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 250 ml cream
- Salt and pepper, ground
- nutmeg
- butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel and wash the potatoes, and cut into 0.5 cm-thick slices. Cook in the vegetable stock for 5 minutes and drain. Trim and wash the leek and slice into thin rings. Finely chop the garlic. Sauté the leek and garlic in a saucepan, seasoning with salt and pepper. Whisk the cream and eggs thoroughly and season with the spices. Grease a baking dish. Alternate layers of potato slices, leek rings, and cheese. Pour the cream and egg mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with butter. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
