Potato casserole with turkey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g turkey meat
  • 375 g potatoes
  • 250 g tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g Gouda, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • nutmeg
  • Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel the potatoes and slice thinly. Wash the spring onions and tomatoes; cut the spring onions into chunks and the tomatoes into wedges. Rinse the turkey, pat dry, and cut into small pieces. Mix the milk, eggs, and Gouda together and season with salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, and thyme. Layer the potatoes, turkey, spring onions, and tomatoes in a casserole dish and pour the milk, eggs, and Gouda over them. Bake the casserole in the oven at 200°C for about 40-45 minutes. Place some parchment paper over the dish for the last 10 minutes to prevent the top from burning. This dish contains approximately 380 kcal per serving.
