Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large potatoes
- 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
- ½ tsp thyme, shredded
- 1 egg(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Finely grate the potatoes and Emmental cheese, mix well with the egg and seasonings. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan and spread the potato mixture into a flat cake. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Be careful when turning the tortilla so it doesn’t break. It’s best to turn it out using a large plate. Cut the finished tortilla into pieces and serve as a side dish, or enjoy it on its own.
