Potato gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • butter
  • herbal salt
  • nutmeg
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 200 g yogurt or cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Boil, peel, and slice potatoes. Rub a baking dish with garlic and grease it. Layer one layer of potatoes and sprinkle with herb salt, parsley, pepper, nutmeg, and a little cheese. Place the next layer of potatoes on top. Mix yogurt (or cream) with herb salt, pepper, parsley, and mustard. Pour over the gratin, sprinkle with cheese, and top with butter flakes. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 15 minutes. You can also use raw potatoes, but slice them thinly, use more liquid, and add more seasoning. The gratin will then take a total of 45-60 minutes.
