simple and filling

Peel the potatoes and boil until tender. Drain and mash. At this point, add a spoonful of butter, finely chopped, fried bacon, or blue cheese. Crack in the raw egg. Season with salt and lemon pepper (not too much, or it will taste too sour!). Add a little breadcrumbs until the mixture becomes pliable. Rinse your hands with cold water to prevent the mixture from sticking, then form flat, round patties. Coat them again in breadcrumbs. Fry in a good amount of hot oil, otherwise they won’t get a beautiful golden brown. They taste great with sweet salads, such as carrot salad. Do not serve with sauce (it’s too bad for that).
