Potato toast à la Araya

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 10 slices of toast
  • 180 g potatoes
  • salt water
  • 80 g ham
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 5 m.-large mushrooms

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Boil them in salted water for about 3 minutes, then drain. Slice the onion into rings and the mushrooms into slices. Mix the sour cream and herb cream cheese together and season generously with salt and pepper. Spread the sour cream mixture evenly on the slices of toast and top with some ham. Cover tightly with the potato slices, then the mushroom slices and onion rings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Tip: The toast looks especially good when using red potatoes.
