Poultry: Turkey Legs from Pipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Turkey legs 400 g each
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Leek
  • 1 Cauliflower fresh
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Salt

for brushing

  • 0,5 tbsp Honey
  • 0,5 tbsp Soy sauce dark and sweet
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • Some water

Instructions
 

  • Wash the turkey legs and pat dry. Rub all around with pepper and salt.
  • Clean, peel and cut all the soup vegetables and the apple.
  • Place the turkey legs in a roaster or pan, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and then drape the vegetables around the meat.
  • approx. Pour 300 ml of cold water, put the lid on and place in the pipe. Roast for about 60 minutes.
  • Mix honey, sauce, salt and water into a mixture. After 60 minutes, remove the lid and brush both legs with the marinade every 5 - 6 minutes. After half an hour the legs are nice and brown.
  • Now take this out, loosen the meat from the bone and keep it warm again.
  • Pass the sauce with the vegetables through a sieve and season with salt and pepper.
