Delicious temptation with Christmas cherry filling

Mix all ingredients, except the jam and chocolate coating, into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a log and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour. After the resting time, take walnut-sized pieces from the roll of dough, shape them into balls, and then flatten them until you have cookies about 5 mm thick. Decorate one half of the cookies with a fork and make a small indentation in the other half with your fingertip. Place the cookies, leaving enough space between them, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 to 12 minutes. Then let cool completely on a wire rack. Meanwhile, heat the jam in a bain-marie until soft but not runny. Pour a little jam into the indentations of the cookies and let cool. Melt the chocolate coating in a bain-marie and dip the cookies with the jam half. Place on baking paper and let dry.
