Prawns on parsley in flatbread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s), Lebanese
  • 150 g shrimp(s)
  • 70 g parsley
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp, heaped sugar, brown
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp, heaped sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 tsp lime juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle it on the flatbread. Sauté the shrimp without oil in a pan over medium heat to release the liquid. Then add the oil, garlic, and chili flakes. Sauté briefly over medium heat, then add the sugar and let it caramelize. Deglaze with fish sauce, soy sauce, and 1-2 teaspoons of lime juice. Simmer the sauce until thickened. Arrange the shrimp and sauce on the bed of parsley. Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds and enjoy.
