Pretzels – Bacon – Balls
The perfect pretzels – bacon – balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Pretzel, 1 day old
- 50 g Melt butter
- 50 ml Milk
- 30 g Parmesan, grated
- 3 Pc. Mozzarella, also small mozzarella balls
- 3 tbsp Chives, in rolls
- 3 tbsp Mountain cheese, grated
- This recipe is an experiment – but I could imagine serving it as dinner or as a starter with a salad:
- Tear the pretzel into small pieces. Pour the melted butter, milk and grated Parmesan on top and mix carefully until all of the liquid is absorbed and a kind of dumpling dough has formed.
- Now shape three balls with your hands and hide a piece of mozzarella or a mini-mozzarella. The balls are first rolled in the chives, then in the grated mountain cheese. Place two bacon strips on top of each other in a cross shape and place a pretzel ball in the middle. Now fold the strips over one another, starting with the bottom strip so that the pretzel ball is wrapped.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 250 ° top / bottom heat and fry the balls for about 20 minutes until the bacon is nice and crispy. Good Appetite!
