Ingredients
For the dough:
- 300 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 150 g Quark
- 150 g Butter
- 1 Egg
For the filling:
- 1 Egg yolk
- 200 g Quark
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Ground lemon peel
- 1 Egg Whites
Instructions
For the dough:
- Mix the flour and baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, quark, butter and egg and knead everything well.
- Chill the dough for a short time.
- Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut into small squares.
For the filling:
- Place the egg yolks in a bowl.
- Add quark, sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon zest and stir.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, add and stir in.
- Put the filling in the middle of the dough pieces with a spoon.
- Fold the four corners of the dough pieces over the filling in the middle.
- Place the dough pieces on the baking sheets.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
