Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml milk
  • some oil for frying
  • n. B. Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine the low-fat quark, flour, eggs, and milk in a bowl and mix everything into a smooth batter. Heat a little oil in a pan and add the batter. Fry the underside until golden brown and carefully flip it over with a spatula. Cut the Kaiserschmarren into pieces of any size and fry the other side until golden brown. Transfer the finished Kaiserschmarren to a plate and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. It is traditionally served with applesauce or compote. Per serving: Approx. 650 kcal.
