  • 675 ml water, warm
  • 1 cube of yeast, fresh
  • 1 ½ tbsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 1 kg flour, possibly more
  • 4 tbsp herbs de Provence

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Perfect as a side dish for grilling – but also tastes great with everything else

Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water. Add the salt and sugar and mix. Knead with 1 kg of flour and the remaining water, adding enough flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Stir in the herbs. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Preheat the oven (160°C fan/convection oven) and line a baking tray with baking paper. Knead the dough again and place it on the baking tray in any desired shape (flatbread, baguette). Bake for approximately 60-70 minutes.
