Puff pastry egg tarts

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 sheets of puff pastry (as needed)
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 6 tbsp whipped cream
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • some basil leaves, for garnishing
  • n. B. Fat, for the muffin tin

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease the cups of a muffin tin and line them with the puff pastry. Whisk the eggs, fold in the sour cream, cheese, and chives, season with salt and pepper, and fill the puff pastry in portions. Bake the tarts in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Let the pastries cool slightly in the oven and carefully remove them from the tin. Garnish the tarts with basil leaves and serve.
