Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of puff pastry (frozen)
  • 2 slices of cheese (goat cheese, thaler)
  • 2 tomatoes, dried
  • 2 slices of bacon or ham
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp pesto rosso
  • 1 egg(s), separated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and let it thaw. Meanwhile, brush the ham or bacon with honey, place the cheese slices on top, and wrap them. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes. Separate the egg. Spread some pesto on the puff pastry, arrange the sun-dried tomatoes on top, and place the wrapped goat cheese on top. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with egg white and shape into a pocket. Brush this with egg yolk and bake at 170°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the size and shape of the pastries.
