Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, frozen
  • 2 tbsp, sautéed mustard, not too mild
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, Gouda or other
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes, sliced
  • Olives, sliced
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • pepper
  • Italian herbs, mixed dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Line a baking sheet with the puff pastry. Spread it with mustard. Arrange the tomato slices on top, then top with the olives. Season with salt. Season with olive oil, garlic, and pepper, and drizzle over the tomatoes. Sprinkle with Italian herbs. Bake in the middle rack of the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes before serving.
