Puff pastry with cream cheese filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of frozen puff pastry
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 125 g cream cheese
  • 3 tsp bacon, diced
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry. Combine the onions with the cream cheese, bacon, chives, and parsley. Mix the egg yolk and milk. Fill the center of the puff pastry sheets with about 1.5 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture, press the edges together firmly, and brush with the egg yolk mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C. Variations: Fill with Nutella or a mixture of tomato and mozzarella.
