  • 1 pack of puff pastry (6 sheets)
  • 1 pack of mixed vegetables (organic pan-fried vegetables Italian style)
  • 2 tsp ajvar
  • n. B. Cheese of your choice and taste
  • savory
  • Parsley
  • pepper
  • basil
  • oregano
  • cumin
  • turmeric

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

enough for 6 pieces – food combining

Remove the puff pastry from the package and let it thaw. Brown the vegetables in a pan and season with all the spices, herbs, and ajvar, except for the cumin. Then let it cool slightly. In the meantime, carefully stretch the puff pastry until it has almost doubled in size (if you’re inexperienced, leave it smaller). Place the cheese in the center of the puff pastry, arrange the vegetables on top, and fold the pastry over as needed. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with a little cumin. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 50°C and bake for about another 5-10 minutes, being careful not to overcook. Note: The cheese used should be fatty. You can omit it if you like.
