Sweet dessert!
Remove the skins and seeds from the pumpkins. Then dice the pumpkin flesh. Melt a little butter in a saucepan and add the pumpkin pieces. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent it from burning. Mash the soft pumpkin with a masher until smooth. Add the eggs, sugar, and flour. Stir everything well and season to taste. Bring the mixture back to a boil. Preheat the oven to approximately 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Pour the dumpling dough into a baking dish (thickness as desired) and smooth it out. Then pour the pumpkin mixture on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and scatter the butter in small flakes. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for a good 45 minutes. The crust should turn a light brown color. Allow to cool completely and is best served cold, as some people react to the warm casserole with stomach aches.
