Ingredients for 1 servings:
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tsp cloves
- ½ tsp nutmeg blossom
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 400 g pumpkin flesh cooked to a puree and drained
- 1 can condensed milk, sweet
- 120 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 75 g butter
- 3 tbsp water, ice cold
- 5 tbsp syrup (caramel)
- 3 tbsp brandy
- 300 g nuts (pecans)
- 70 g cranberries, dried
Instructions

Form the dough ingredients into a shortcrust pastry, place it in a greased pie dish, and shape it. Mix the filling ingredients together and pour into the dish. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for about 60 minutes. Combine the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently until the syrup begins to thicken. Let the pie cool slightly, then spread the sauce over the pie. Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. An autumn classic and an absolute must on the American Thanksgiving table.
