Pumpkin Soup Alla Mama

The perfect pumpkin soup alla mama recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Pumpkin
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Wheat flour
  • 1 l Vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 1 bunch Chives
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Cumin
  1. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
  2. Chop the onion and sauté in butter until translucent.
  3. Add the pumpkin and fry briefly.
  4. Scatter the flour on top and pour in the vegetable stock.
  5. Bring to the boil and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes.
  6. Puree the soup. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and cumin and refine with creme fraiche.
  7. Cut the chives into fine rings and add.
  8. Serve with wiener sausages to taste.
