Quark Bundt Cake

- 150 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Lemon untreated
- 4 Eggs
- 250 g Quark
- 375 g Flour
- 3 tbsp Rum
- 100 g Flaked almonds
- 100 g Sultanas
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Fat
- 2 tbsp Crumbs
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
- Mix the soft butter with sugar, salt, the lemon zest and the eggs until frothy, fold in the quark.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the quark mixture and stir in with the rum, almonds and sultanas.
- Place the dough in a greased bundt pan, sprinkled with breadcrumbs, and bake on the lowest rack of the hot oven for around 70 minutes.
- Let the quarkgugelhupf cool on a grid and decorate with a glaze as desired. Good Appetite!
