Quark Bundt Cake

  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Lemon untreated
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250 g Quark
  • 375 g Flour
  • 3 tbsp Rum
  • 100 g Flaked almonds
  • 100 g Sultanas
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Fat
  • 2 tbsp Crumbs
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
  2. Mix the soft butter with sugar, salt, the lemon zest and the eggs until frothy, fold in the quark.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder into the quark mixture and stir in with the rum, almonds and sultanas.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bundt pan, sprinkled with breadcrumbs, and bake on the lowest rack of the hot oven for around 70 minutes.
  5. Let the quarkgugelhupf cool on a grid and decorate with a glaze as desired. Good Appetite!
