Quark casserole without sugar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 apple
  • ½ pack of orange peel
  • 50 g berries, frozen
  • some fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Whisk the low-fat quark until smooth. Separate the eggs. Add the egg yolks to the quark and beat the egg whites until stiff. Quarter and core the apple, and grate it into the quark and egg yolk mixture. Add the orange zest and fold the egg whites into the quark mixture. Grease a baking dish, pour the mixture into it, top with the berries, and bake the quark casserole in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. The quark casserole is best enjoyed warm.
