Quark noodles from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g bacon, streaky
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 400 g pasta (farfalle or penne)
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • Parsley, chives
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • some honey
  • some olive oil
  • Grated cheese (for sprinkling)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

delicious and light pasta casserole according to an old family recipe

Heat a pan, chop the bacon into small pieces and fry until crispy. Peel and finely dice the carrots. Add the carrots to the pan with the bacon and fry. In the meantime, bring the pasta water to a boil and cook the pasta until tender. Preheat the oven to 200°C (electric stove) and grease a baking dish with olive oil. Finely chop the parsley and chives and add them to the quark. Mix the bacon and carrots with the quark. Add lemon juice and a little honey. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix the cooked pasta with the quark. Then spread the mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 200°C for approx. 20-30 minutes.
