Quark with linseed oil in Spreewald style with lots of herbs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg quark, 40% fat
  • 400 g herb curd
  • some milk
  • ½ m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 box of cress
  • some linseed oil
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with potatoes and liver sausage

Combine the quark and herb quark in a bowl. Low-fat quark doesn’t taste good in this recipe. Finely dice the onion, finely chop the chives and parsley, and add them with the cress. Add milk and linseed oil to the quark to taste. Our quark is nice and creamy, which makes it taste deliciously smooth instead of dry. Season generously with salt and pepper. You can drizzle more linseed oil over the dish at the end.
