Quesadilla with Spinach

The perfect quesadilla with spinach recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Pc. Tortillas
  • 400 g Spinach (baby spinach)
  • 200 g Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Pc. Fresh onions
  • 2 Toes Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt from the mill
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Chilli from the mill
  1. Grate cheese, clean spinach, wash and spin dry. Finely dice the garlic, quarter the onions and cut into thin strips.
  2. Put the oil in a pan, fry the garlic and onions until translucent, add the spinach and let it collapse. Season with pepper, salt and chilli flakes, set aside and let cool slightly.
  3. Heat another pan over medium heat and place a tortilla flatbread in it. Spread a quarter of the grated cheese on top, then spread half of the spinach, onion and garlic mixture on top, sprinkle another quarter of the grated cheese over it and top with a second tortilla Cover the flatbreads and press lightly, bake for about 1-2 minutes, then turn and bake on the other side for 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  4. Then slide the quesadilla out of the pan onto a board and cut it into cake corners, just like you do with the other two tortella flatbreads. Good Appetite
