Quiche with zucchini

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g flour
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 200 ml cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of Provence
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Knead the butter, flour, milk, and salt into a dough. Wrap it in a bowl and let it rest in the refrigerator for about half an hour. Meanwhile, slice the zucchini and finely dice the onion. Combine the cream with the milk, eggs, cheese, herbs, and spices to form a glaze. Roll out the dough to fit the baking dish and line the greased dish with it. Distribute the zucchini, onion, and diced ham over the dough and pour the glaze evenly over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 30 minutes.
