Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g lentils, red
  • 200 g coconut milk
  • 150 g rice
  • 3 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the lentils for about 5 minutes, then season with chili and curry powder. Don’t skimp. Add chili as needed. Cook the lentils until they are slightly cooked, but you can leave them crisper if you prefer. After this step, the water used to cook the lentils should be completely absorbed. Then add the coconut milk and simmer briefly. Season with salt as desired. Meanwhile, cook the rice. Naan bread, for example, can also be used instead of rice.
