Quick cherry and quark cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g quark
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

from a 26cm springform pan

Combine flour, baking powder, butter, sugar, and eggs to form a crumbly batter. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter). Distribute the drained cherries over the batter. Beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon sugar until frothy. Stir in the quark and pudding mix. Pour the mixture into the springform pan and sprinkle with the remaining batter. Bake the cake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
