Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 package of noodles (Chow Mein)
- 1 bell pepper(s), red, orange, yellow
- 1 chicken breast
- Soy sauce
- Maggi
- Oil (peanut)
- Spice mix (wok spice)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
First, turn on the kettle and place a large pan on the stove. Cut the chicken breast and bell pepper into thin strips. While the water is cooking, pour the water from the kettle into the hot pan and add the chow mein noodles. Season the water with salt if desired. Let the noodles cook until golden brown and place them in a colander to drain. Add a little peanut oil to the pan and fry the chicken until golden brown, add the noodles and season both with a few dashes of soy sauce and Maggi. Then add the bell pepper strips and a little of the stir-fry seasoning. Heat everything briefly until the pepper strips also come up to temperature, then turn off the heat. Place the quick Chinese noodles on two plates.
