Quick chocolate wreath with buttercream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake, ready-made or baked wreath cake
  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • chocolate sprinkles
  • 5 tbsp Nutella

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the vanilla pudding powder with the milk and sugar. Allow to cool, stirring frequently to prevent a skin from forming. Blend the butter until creamy. Then slowly fold in the pudding, a spoonful at a time. Finally, blend vigorously. Cut the cake in half horizontally. Spread Nutella on the bottom layer. Then spread some of the buttercream on top. Place the top layer on top. Now spread the buttercream all around the inside and outside. Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles and chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours. If you don’t want to use store-bought cake, simply make a chocolate sponge.
